Creation and Verification of Training Program to Improve the Coordination Skills of Junior Football Players
CÍSAŘ, Jakub
The main object of the thesis was the creation and verification of the training program to improve the coordination skills of junior football players from SK Rudolfov team. Selection of 11 subjects of age from 7 to 10 years old was made. For a specific measurement of values, we used a group of 4 motor tests which reflected the results of the subjects as accurate as possible. The tests were used within an entry round of measurement. Next, we applied the 12-week training programme focusing on improving agility. The programme consisted of 24 exercises, which were meant to support the improvement of agility aspects that the subjects used within the motor tests. After the completion of the 12-week-long training programme we made the final round of measurement. Based on the results from both the entry and the final round of measurement, we collected the results, which we processed for the next methods of the project. According to statistical and practical significance, the training programme had a positive impact on the results of the Agility Ttest, the Illinois agility test, and the AFL agility test. We did not approve the positive impact on the results of the 505 agility test. In the discussion part of the thesis, we compare the results of our thesis with a two other projects with similar approach. In the conclusion, we made a complete summary of the thesis with reference to the results of the project.
